✨ Episode Highlights
- Nehemiah’s refusal to come down from his assignment… and how to apply that today
- Modern distractions: fake opportunities, people-pleasing, and unexpected spiritual attacks
- How discernment and diligence can protect your purpose
- The importance of building with one hand while holding a weapon in the other
- Lessons from Jesus and how even He chose focus over fame
📌 Favorite Quote
“You are about a great work… and you cannot come down.”
📝 Reflection
Nehemiah built a wall in 52 days. That’s not just a biblical accomplishment… it’s a model of how focus, faith, and obedience can lead to supernatural productivity. Bri reminds us that distractions may come, often disguised as opportunity or support. But discernment tells us what’s divine and what’s just noise.
If you’ve ever had to turn down a party, pause a friendship, or shut down a fake promise (like Bri’s $2,000 “dealership win” that turned into a pair of knockoff AirPods), you’ll feel this one deeply. This episode is your permission to say no, to pull back, and to keep your sword in one hand while you build with the other.

đź’ Introduction
Is your delay costing you more than you realize?
In Episode 6 of the 13:22 Life Podcast, we dive into the hard truth that delayed obedience is still disobedience. We often say we’re “waiting on God,” but sometimes… He’s really waiting on us. In this episode, I unpack what happened when I delayed, what we learn from Jonah’s story, and how disobedience doesn’t just affect us, but others too.
If you’ve ever hesitated to obey what God clearly told you to do, this message is your reminder: there’s purpose in His timing. And your next blessing might be tied to your next act of obedience.

- Encouragement for course-correcting when you’ve waited too long
📌 Favorite Quote
“Delayed obedience is still disobedience… and it may cost you more than time.”
📝 Reflection
One of the hardest things to accept is that the longer I delayed, the heavier the consequences became. Delayed obedience can result in missed blessings, unnecessary detours, and even bringing storms into the lives of those around us. Jonah didn’t just delay… he ran. And look what happened. God had to use a storm and a fish to get him back on track.
But here’s the good news: God still used Jonah. And He can still use you. If you’ve delayed obeying something God told you to do… whether it’s a conversation, a step of faith, or a shift in direction… it’s not too late. Grace is still available. Just move.
This episode isn’t about shame. It’s about urgency. Because the sooner you say yes, the sooner God can do what He’s been trying to do through you.

đź’ Introduction
What if the breakthrough you’re praying for is waiting on your obedience?
In Episode 5 of the 13:22 Life Podcast, we unpack what it means to live a L.O.T. lifestyle… a life where you Listen, Obey, and Trust God. This episode is a bold reminder that obedience isn’t optional when you’re walking by faith. If you’ve ever felt stuck in a cycle of overthinking or disobedience, this conversation is going to meet you where you are.
It’s not about being perfect… it’s about responding when God speaks, even when it’s inconvenient, unclear, or uncomfortable. Let’s explore what happens when you stop waiting for more information and start moving in obedience.

✨ Episode Highlights
- What the L.O.T. lifestyle means: Listen, Obey, Trust
- Why obedience often comes before understanding
- How delayed obedience is still disobedience
- Breaking the habit of overanalyzing God’s instructions
- How to develop spiritual sensitivity so you can hear and respond quickly
📌 Favorite Quote
“Faith that moves mountains often starts with obedience that doesn’t make sense.”
📝 Reflection
Living a L.O.T. lifestyle isn’t just about hearing from God… it’s about responding with courage and trust. I’ve seen the fruit of obedience in moments when I was terrified, unsure, and flat-out unwilling… but chose to trust anyway. And I’ve also seen what happens when I delay. I miss divine timing. I lose momentum. And sometimes, I cause unnecessary storms.
Maybe you’re in a place right now where God has already given you the instruction… and He’s just waiting on your yes. If that’s you, this episode is your confirmation. Obedience always brings clarity. It’s not our job to have the full picture… it’s our job to take the first step.
And when you live this way? You experience peace, favor, and purpose in a whole new way.

đź’ Introduction
Have you ever wondered why you start strong but can’t seem to stay consistent?
In Episode 3 of the 13:22 Life Podcast, we’re breaking down the difference between discipline and motivation. You’re not alone if you’ve struggled to follow through after a burst of excitement. Motivation is temporary. But discipline? That’s what keeps you going long after the feelings fade.
This episode dives into how motivation relies on emotion, while discipline anchors itself in purpose and obedience. If you want to show up even when it’s hard, this conversation will shift your perspective and help you build a foundation for lasting spiritual growth.

- The difference between discipline and motivation in real life
- Why motivation fades… and what to do when it does
- How to make discipline part of your spiritual routine
- What scripture says about showing up, not just feeling inspired
- Encouragement for when you’re tempted to quit
📌 Favorite Quote
“Motivation might get you started, but only discipline will keep you going.”
📝 Reflection
Let’s be real… we’ve all felt fired up after a sermon, podcast, or powerful moment with God… but a week later, the feelings fade. That’s where discipline steps in.
Understanding the difference between discipline and motivation changed everything for me. Motivation is a great starter, but it’s undependable. It shows up when it wants to. Discipline is what builds legacy. It’s rooted in values, not vibes.
As believers, we’re called to do hard things… to follow God not just when it feels good, but when it’s inconvenient, uncomfortable, or unclear. That’s the life of faith. That’s the life of discipline.

đź’ Introduction
What does discipline look like as a busy parent trying to walk by faith?
In Episode 1 of the 13:22 Life Podcast, I’m opening up about why I launched this show and what it means to live with discipline as a busy parent. We’re getting real about the tension between consistency and chaos, obedience and overwhelm, and how to make faith a lifestyle… not just a Sunday moment.
If you’ve ever felt like your spiritual life is getting buried under a pile of laundry, school pickups, and business meetings… this episode is for you. I’ve been there. You love God, you want to grow, but the overwhelm of life makes it hard to show up consistently. That’s why I created this space: to have honest, faith-driven conversations that equip and encourage.

- How God led me to start this podcast

- Balancing faith, motherhood, and obedience
- Encouragement to be consistent even when life gets messy
📌 Favorite Quote
“Discipline isn’t about perfection… it’s about getting back up when you miss the mark and keeping your eyes on your purpose.”
📝 Reflection
One thing I’ve learned about discipline as a busy parent is that it has nothing to do with ease and everything to do with intentionality. You won’t always feel motivated, but God is still worthy of your obedience… especially in the small, unseen moments.
Whether it’s waking up early to pray, showing patience when you’d rather not, or choosing to be present when you’re mentally drained, these decisions shape who you’re becoming. I’m still on this journey too, and I want this podcast to be a place where we grow together… not perform for perfection.
📅 What’s Coming Next
This season, we’ll dive into the tension between faith and feelings, tackle spiritual laziness, unpack how to actually hear God, and talk about what to do when you’ve missed the mark. Each episode is grounded in scripture and real life… because you don’t need another filter, you need freedom.
If that’s your heart too, make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss what’s ahead.
